Pulmofinity™: Exclusive lung tropism via systemic dosing

Systemic delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics has traditionally been challenged by preferential accumulation in the liver, limiting effective delivery to the lungs. Pulmofinity™ is a PEG-free lipoplex nanoparticle (LPP) platform engineered to achieve exclusive lung tropism through systemic administration while minimizing liver accumulation. By targeting pulmonary endothelial cells and supporting delivery of multiple nucleic acid modalities, including mRNA, siRNA, and antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), Pulmofinity™ provides a versatile platform for developing next-generation therapies for pulmonary diseases such as pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).

Target Tissues:

  • Lung (systemic routes)

Potential Applications:

  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)
  • Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)

Supporting Data:

1. Pulmofinity LPPs can deliver nucleic acid payloads to the lung via systemic dosing.
