Research Associate II/Senior Research Associate I, Cell Biology

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented researcher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on performing a variety of in vitro assays to screen and characterize new lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for therapeutic applications. You will be supporting a team of research scientists and research associates in the development of Cytogidm’s proprietary LNP solutions. This is a contract position based in Natick, MA.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cytokine assay and analysis in cultured human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs).
  • Execute next-generation sequencing-based experiments, including sample preparation from cells and tissues, and data analysis.
  • Potential stretch goal to work on new high-content/image-based screening.
  • Ensure site-wide electronic lab notebook and record keeping complies with company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant industry experience. Familiarity with non-viral delivery platforms is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiplex immune assays (e.g., MSD, Luminex) is essential. Flow Cytometry experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Molecular Biology Assays (e.g. mRNA tissue extraction, qPCR, NGS) and Cell Biology Assays (e.g., immunofluorescence, cell imaging, microscopy) and data analysis software (GraphPad Prism, Flowjo, Fiji) preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to progressing our LNP franchise.
