In Boston, on June 25, 2025, Dr. Bin Wu, Cytodigm’s Founder and CEO, will present “Redefining Nanoparticle Delivery: PEG-Free LNP Formulation for Targeted & Extrahepatic Applications” at the 4th Annual Extra-Hepatic Lipid-Based Nanoparticles Delivery Summit.”
In his presentation, Dr. Wu will discuss Cytodigm’s recent advancements in PEG-free Cytofinity™ LNPs for delivering nucleic acid therapeutics to extra-hepatic tissues and cells. Specifically, he will cover:
- The replacement of PEG lipids with natural gangliosides to reduce immune responses, lower toxicity, and enhance the overall safety of nanoparticle delivery systems.
- The achievement of targeted delivery to bone marrow, lungs, and other non-hepatic tissues and cells without the need for antibody conjugation, which helps overcome significant translational challenges.
- The characterization of particle size, encapsulation efficiency, and both in vitro and in vivo performance to improve transfection rates, biodistribution, and therapeutic effectiveness.
